RaceQuip's new Sport Model Helmet (aka SportMod) was designed for the budget minded racer. The SportMod delivers all the standard features you would expect to find in a Snell SA-2010 certified helmet, except the price. The SportMod exceeds the SA-2010 protection standards set forth by The Snell Memorial Foundation. RaceQuip starts with a hand laid fiberglass shell, then installs their proven expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner material. Next, a blended Nomex interior is installed to provide proper fit as well as comfort. The 3mm polycarbonate low fog shield provides great peripheral vision and is retained by aluminum pivot kit hardware. Tear-Off posts and a silicone eye port gasket to keep out dirt are standard features on this value-priced helmet. The shell is pre-drilled for HNR/HANS anchors to make installation a snap. Sizes available are XS - 2XL in Gloss White or Flat Black with removable SportMod logos.
